D-Mannose has been shown to play a role in the antiadhesion of uropathogenic E.coli. Without adhesion, the bacteria cannot infect the mucosal surface of the urinary tract. Cran-Mannose UTI is an excellent high potency combination for the treatment of acute urinary tract infections due to E. coli and the prophylaxis of recurrent infections.
